Cendant Mobility Gets Training Accolades

Cendant Mobility announced today that it has been named to the 2002 Training Top 100 by Training magazine for its investment in the development of its workforce and its focus on the continued growth and productivity of its employees. Chosen from more than 150,000 applicants, Cendant Mobility was honored following an assessment of qualitative and quantitative data including financial investment in employee development, the type and scope of training and development programs offered to employees, the quality of these programs and how closely such development efforts are linked to business goals and objectives. "We are extremely proud to be the recipient of this stellar award, which is a testament to our human capital initiatives and our commitment to a diverse, strong, and well-trained labor force, but even more important, to our employees themselves," stated Kevin J. Kelleher, Cendant Mobility"s president and CEO. "This recognition further establishes Cendant Mobility as the global relocation industry leader in workforce development." Training magazine selected Cendant Mobility for this national distinction after a thorough evaluation of many of its initiatives that include college tuition reimbursement, a very extensive annual training budget, 36 hours of training per employee each year, and an extensive job-shadowing program. Additionally, Cendant Mobility recently entered into an agreement with Connecticut"s Fairfield University to provide college credit courses at the Cendant campus in Danbury. "Even in these less-than-stellar economic times, Cendant Mobility is among those select companies that have raised the bar with their training initiatives," said Tammy Galvin, executive editor of Training magazine. "Cendant Mobility has embraced training and workforce development as a mission-critical strategy, and accordingly, has dedicated significant resources to its training efforts." Cendant Mobility is a recognized leader in all market segments it serves, including corporate, military and government relocation, international assignment and consulting services, and affinity programs. Cendant Mobility has nearly 2,100 global clients. It assists over 130,000 transferring employees annually, represented by cross-border activity in over 140 countries. Cendant Mobility is a subsidiary of Cendant Corporation (NYSE: CD).
