MonsterDaata, Inc. (OTCBB:MDDC), an
information infrastructure utility company, says it has been selected to power
the community information feature at HomeScape.com,, owned by Classified Ventures,
Inc.
Under the agreement, MonsterDaata will provide HomeScape.com"s visitors with
comprehensive community information from its library of over 3.5 billion
records for over 220,000 distinct geographically bounded areas in the United
States. Its Neighborhood Place service will provide neighborhood profiles,
crime, environmental hazard, employment, cost of living, demographics, weather
and a variety of free information to HomeScape.com users.
HomeScape.com launched as the one-stop online destination for consumers
seeking to buy, sell, rent, move, and finance real estate. The creation of
HomeScape.com brings together some of the Internet"s most successful Web sites,
including Apartments.com, NewHomeNetwork.com, and MovingCenter.com.
HomeScape.com also introduced HomeFinder.com, a newly launched Classified
Ventures national resale site that indexes more than 900,000 new and resale
homes. According to May"s Media Metrix report, the consolidated traffic from
HomeScape.com"s member Web sites places it among the top three largest real
estate networks online today.
In addition to its national sites, HomeScape.com will be featured on
the Web sites of 134 local market affiliates across the country, including
eight of the top ten newspapers" web sites, including the Chicago Tribune,
Washington Post, Los Angeles Times, Miami Herald, The New York Times and USA
Today.
MonsterDaata currently serves 30,000 real estate brokers and agents, as
well as over 100 web sites and portals including Yahoo! (Nasdaq:YHOO),
Homestore.com and Move.com. MonsterDaata has also developed a vast library of
digital content that includes more than 3.5 billion records of information on
points, places and properties for over 61,000 communities, composed of more
than 220,000 distinct geographically bounded areas in the United States. It
also maintains over 20,000 digital images of locations throughout North
America, including 180 and 360 degree panoramic visual digital city tours.
