Think Tampa Bay, Say Local Florida Realtors

Tampa Bay Realtors say the area offers affordable homes, lower taxes, a strong job market, easy commutes, great weather, and beaches. What more could buyers want? "And diverse recreational and culture options," says Realtor Doug Bohannon, "Tampa has the golf courses, beaches and infrastructure for endless days of sun and fun. Tampa Bay is an excellent place to live! The economy is diverse and expanding, with corporate relocations are continuing at full gallop. Quality public and private schools abound. The Tampa real estate market features an array of affordable housing options and has seen steady price appreciation." Suggests Realtor Tom Scaglione, "The market here in the Tampa Bay area is still a strong seller"s market. Homes are appreciating at a steady and strong pace. In some areas homes are appreciating at three to five percent every two to three months." "With low interest rates and an excellent relocation market," says Realtor Kathleen Mackenzie, "the Tampa real estate market continues to be strong. So far this year, the average home price is up about 9 percent compared to the same period last year, according to Greater Tampa Association of Realtors data. Look for especially strong growth in the New Tampa, South Shore, and Pasco County areas as new communities and new construction continue developing in these areas."
